Eligibility

What sectors and technologies do you cover?

AI, robotics, quantum computing, and cybersecurity, across aerospace, life sciences, manufacturing, energy, cleantech, fintech, agritech, and automotive sectors.

Do you work with companies outside the EU?

Yes. Our scope covers all of Europe, including the UK, Switzerland, Norway, and other non-EU countries. The Canada–Europe corridor is the focus, not EU membership specifically.

Do you work with universities and research institutes?

Yes, as ecosystem partners, not members. If your tech transfer office has a spinoff or product ready for cross-border B2B engagement, that company applies for membership directly. For institutional collaboration, submit a partnership request.

What about government agencies and trade offices?

Government agencies and trade offices work with us as ecosystem partners. Your introductions create valuable connections. We provide the structured execution that converts those connections into commercial outcomes. Submit a partnership request to get started.

Pricing & Tools

How much does membership cost?

One membership with full access to the ecosystem: vetted counterparts, Funding Finder, Investor Directory, Expert Sessions, Program Alerts, and referrals to trusted professionals. Founding member pricing is available. Request membership to start the conversation.

What member tools are included?

Two search tools built for the Canada-Europe corridor, included with every membership. The Funding Finder lets you search and filter 340+ funding programs by country, type, and category. The Investor Directory lets you browse 2,000+ PE/VC firms and investors by sector, stage, and geography. Program Alerts notify you when relevant calls open.

Can I download the data?

No. All data is searchable through the member portal but not downloadable. This protects the integrity of the ecosystem and the value of the data for all members.

Do I have to use the Deal-Room?

No. The Deal-Room is an optional add-on. Membership on its own provides value through the vetted ecosystem, expert sessions, market intelligence, and member tools. When you have a specific cross-border opportunity ready to move forward, the Deal-Room provides hands-on execution: due diligence, pilot structuring, compliance, negotiation support, and post-deal integration. Each engagement is scoped and quoted individually.

Are there free resources I can access without membership?

Yes. Our Corridor Resources page is open to everyone. It covers 44 government-backed tools and programs organized into four categories: trade and investment agencies (19), funding and grants (14), regulatory and compliance (8), and immigration and mobility (3). These are the public agencies and programs that support cross-border transactions between Canada and Europe. Membership adds searchable tools on top: the Funding Finder, Investor Directory, program alerts, and access to the vetted ecosystem.

Getting Started

What if I just want to observe?

If you are a company not ready to commit, we suggest starting with a conversation. We can discuss what makes sense for your position. If you are an institutional organization or investor, explore our partnership program instead.

What if we are not sure we are ready?

Apply anyway. We will have a conversation. Part of our assessment is helping you determine whether cross-border engagement makes sense for where you are right now.

What does the membership review process look like?

After you submit your application, we schedule a 30-minute interview to assess fit. You receive a go/no-go decision within 5 business days.

Terms

What is the membership term?

Membership is annual (12 months). We do not auto-renew. At the end of your term, you decide whether to renew. Fees are non-refundable.

Can I get a refund if I decide to leave?

No. Membership fees are non-refundable. We do not auto-renew. You choose whether to continue at the end of your annual term.

What is the difference between membership and the Deal-Room?

Membership gives you access to the ecosystem and all member tools (Funding Finder, Investor Directory, and Program Alerts). The Deal-Room is a separate, optional add-on where we do hands-on work on a specific cross-border deal: opportunity qualification, technical due diligence, pilot structuring, regulatory compliance, negotiation support, and post-deal integration. Typically 4-8 weeks, scoped and quoted per engagement.

Can I use Deal-Room services without membership?

No. Membership is required. The vetting process ensures both parties are qualified before entering a structured engagement. Deal-Room services are available to all members as an add-on.

How is this different from a chamber of commerce or trade mission?

Chambers and trade offices are excellent at introductions and networking. EuroCanDigital supports the full lifecycle: finding funding and investors through our member tools, matching R&D and commercial partners, and executing deals through the Deal-Room. We start where introductions end and stay engaged through to outcome.

How are Deal-Room engagements priced?

Pricing is determined case by case, based on scope and complexity. We provide a clear proposal and fee structure before any commitment. No open-ended retainers.

Are NDAs required for Deal-Room engagements?

A general non-disclosure agreement governs all Deal-Room participation. Beyond that, both parties are responsible for their own protection and can engage legal counsel, including from our vetted ecosystem of cross-border specialists, to structure terms appropriate to their deal.

How do I become a partner?

Submit a partnership request. We review every submission and respond within 3–5 business days. Partnership is open to institutional organizations (chambers of commerce, trade offices, accelerators, universities, public agencies) and investors.

Is there a cost to becoming a partner?

There is no cost for institutional partners. You refer qualified contacts into the ecosystem and we report back on outcomes. Investors access pitch sessions featuring vetted cross-border companies; pitch event access is priced separately.

I am an investor. How do I access deal flow?

Register as a partner and select “Investor” as your organization type. We offer quarterly pitch sessions featuring vetted, cross-border-ready companies in the Canada–Europe corridor, along with independent technical assessments and structured introductions.

What is the difference between a member and a partner?

Members are companies using the ecosystem for cross-border execution: member tools, expert sessions, market intelligence, and Deal-Room access. Partners are institutional organizations and investors who participate through referrals and deal flow. Members find, decide, and execute. Partners enable and fund.
